Engine

1994 JDM Subaru Legacy Twin Turbo - EJ20
Remove = ac compressor, power steering pump, main belt, keep same alternator location, Get shorter belt napa # 25-70714.
Remove = extra exhaust covering, turbo covers (use bench wire wheel and it'll polish the covers to chrome nearly- pics will be posted)
Rewrap exhaust with Titanium lava wrap.
Reroute exhaust back to rear of car.
Shorter oil filler tube (outfront motorsports).
Make air intake hose (time being im using the vw heater outer plastic tube), air filter & maf flange (ebay)
Paint valve covers, alternator brackets, turbos with very high temp red ceramic paint.
Cut both pipes (behind turbos) halfway off and move so it will clear the axles & weld back.

i'll have to add the 2nd cat. convertor since i have two egt sensors on my wiring, which im sure the resistor method i could get around this but i decided to keep the 2 cats and go from there.
So i'll have to get a wrx turbo up pipe since it has the bung for the egt sensor and cut out the cat,
weld it into exhaust pipe and route it somewheres near the 1st cat.

Engine Mount

Tractor implament, cut off ends to desired length, weld in place,
cut out two squares so frame horn bolts can be removed w/o takin engine mount off.
angle the brackets for engine mounts - put engine mount under engine, line up brackets and tack weld, remove mount and weld things up. Paint and mount back on.

Adapters

Outfront Motorsports = request longer stud bolts, had 2 buy pressure plate bolts n alignment tool, from outfront motorsports get the adapter kit which will be flywheel, clutch kit 3 stage 200mm pressure plate , remove center piece from pressure plate to use on my 091 tranny.

Air Intake Flange for MAF Sensor n Filter

Picture
I had the subaru air intake box, since it was to bulky and couldn't afford a all metal maf flange. Here I made my own out of a 3" pvc coupler. Inside the coupler had a ridge, which i used a hacksaw and cut it in half which gave me about 2 inches. I also used a cut off wheel on a grinder to cut out the plastic flange from the air intake box which is showing here in black with gold holes. I used pieces which i broke off from the subaru intake box and used a match to light the end and it will produce a small flame for you to work with.
I put the edge that has the ridge next to the subaru flange and started to use the piece thats on fire. I did the inside and then the outside. The flame is a little flame but it works effectively in melting both pieces together while the piece your holding will drop little pieces into the joint as your working and smoothing it. When finished you can not pull these pieces apart.. if you can then you didn't heat the two pieces of plastic enough to melt into each other. Then i used sandpaper to clean up the edges on inside where the sensor will be bolted onto. Finally i painted it with some gloss black. Its a super cheap mod if you already have the parts laying around.
